“The Child of an Elephant”

Yoruba proverb - Omo àjànàkú kan kìí y'àrá,omo tí eyá bá bí, eyá ní jo (the child of an elephant will not be a dwarf). Nature and upbringing shape who we become. You cannot wash away the legacy of your roots. Just as an elephant’s calf grows mighty and strong, a child born of greatness, wisdom, or courage will carry that greatness within. For the child is a reflection of the parent; strength begets strength,and true legacy never fades.
