Accoring to one of yourba proverb, “Ohun tí àgbà bá rí ní orí ìjòkó bí omodé bá gun orí igi ìrókò kòlè ri. (meaning what an elder sees sitting down, a young person cannot see even if they climb a tall tree) - Wisdom from experience worth more than energy/ vision of the youth.
Age brings depth of understanding, not just physical sight. The elder’s wisdom comes from years of living, observing, and learning from life’s mistakes and victories. A young person’s enthusiasm can never replace the insight that comes from experience. Experience sees farther than eyes.
